Fran and I celebrating 11 years with grilled sirloin with truffle sauce, sauteed mushrooms and baked spuds. Indescribably good!

Best salmon yet!

Pan-seared salmon with mushroom & wild rice and steamed broccoli. The salmon was rubbed with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, & garlic. It was the yummiest attempt yet!

Lounging by the Court House

I had a great New Year's Eve, Eve thursday night. I met up with some of the guys from the band Sucker Punch at their rehearsal space affectionately known as The Lounge. We jammed well into the wee hours. This is a picture of the Jasper County courthouse directly across the street. Thanks for a great evening, guys! Happy New Year!!

Christmas Eve Dinner!

Christmas Eve dinner! Grilled bone-in rib eye smothered in shitake mushrooms and red wine reduction sauce, garlic and mozzerella bread, baked potato with the fixin's and broccoli with cheddar. Oh, and a glass of cab! Merry Christmas!
